Las Vegas Strip Brings Back Iconic Superstar Headliner Residency

The Las Vegas Strip has been known for hosting some of the top entertainment in the world throughout history, including such legendary names as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Dean Martin and Liberace, and it’s upcoming schedule of performers shouldn’t disappoint. The Strip’s performance venues have lined up a solid schedule of contemporary and classic performer residencies through the end of the year and into 2024.

Katy Perry: Play at Resorts World has eight shows scheduled in late July and early August, before coming back for a final 10 shows between Oct. 4 and Nov. 4 to conclude the residency. Maroon 5’s MSLV The Residency will launch its final six shows at MGM Resorts International’s  (MGM) – Get Free Report Dolby Live stage at Park MGM Las Vegas on Aug. 4 and concluding on Aug. 12.

Rod Stewart returns to Las Vegas for a residency at Caesars Entertainment’s  (CZR) – Get Free Report Colosseum at Caesars Palace Nov. 10 through Nov. 22. Carrie Underwood’s Reflection residency at Resorts World continues for 12 shows spread through September, November and December, starting Sept. 20 and concluding Dec. 9. Keith Urban’s residency at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood presents eight shows Nov. 1 through Nov. 18.

Legendary Rocker Santana Residency Returns

Legendary rocker Carlos Santana’s An Intimate Evening With Santana: Greatest Hits Live residency at the House of Blues Mandalay Bay is set for eight shows Sept. 6 through Sept. 17 and eight shows Nov. 1 through Nov. 12

The most anticipated Las Vegas residency in many years is rock giant U2’s opening of Sphere Entertainment’s  (SPHR) – Get Free Report Sphere at the Venetian on Sept. 29. U2’s 25-show residency at The Sphere, which runs through Dec. 16, is the highest demand ticket in town. Tickets are sold out, but many are available at steep prices on ticket broker sites.

Rumors have said that solo artist Harry Styles might be the next performer to take residency at The Sphere after U2 ends its run of shows, but the next residency at The Sphere, which will probably begin in 2024, has not been revealed.

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will continue to be a busy well into 2024. Superstar comedian, television star and producer Jerry Seinfeld finishes his 2023 residency at The Colosseum with two shows July 28 and 29 and limited tickets available. The residency is Seinfeld’s first appearances at The Colosseum since 2019.

Seinfeld is Caesars Palace’s longest-running superstar headliner in the resort’s history, playing to sold-out audiences since 2003, according to a July 24 statement.
